Winter 2024 Course Abroad – Marine Ecosystems of Belize
Welcome to the 91¾«Æ· Biology undergraduate programs, where you can dive deep into your passions and define your future. At 91¾«Æ· Biology you’ll join one of six exciting pathways—the 1) General Biology, 2) Human Biology, 3) Environmental Science, 4)Ecology, Biodiversity & Evolutionary Biology, 5) Wildlife and Conservation Biology, or 6) one of our teaching-focused tracks—all designed to help you understand and interpret the living world and thrive in your chosen field.
You’ll learn in hands-on, student-centered small classes using modern labs and equipment—from molecular biology and neurobiology to microscopy, water quality testing, plant and algal culture, and wildlife ecology. Your learning may lead to presenting research at local, regional, or national conferences, and possibly even coauthoring publications with faculty mentors.
As a student, you can expect to complete a meaningful research project with faculty or gain real world experience through internships—many students choose both. Graduates go on to careers as biologists, ecologists, veterinarians, doctors, teachers, marine biologists, research associates, and more.
Our programs offer flexibility to study full or part-time, with resources like financial aid, scholarships, and even free on campus childcare. 91¾«Æ· has the largest Science Department in the CSCU system, giving you more choices, opportunities, and pathways to pursue the biology career you envision.
