

Kubra Tor-Cabuk, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at 91¾«Æ· Connecticut State University. She received her MA in Clinical Psychology from Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University and her PhD in Applied Psychology and Prevention Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Her research and teaching center on women’s health, discrimination in medical settings, and healthcare utilization among minority populations, with a particular focus on Muslim Americans. She integrates methodological rigor with a health equity lens, using both qualitative and quantitative approaches, including thematic analysis, t-tests, ANOVA, regression analysis, latent profile analysis, multilevel modeling, and structural equation modeling, to advance care for underserved communities.
