Biography

Dr. Helena Lucia Swanson (pronouns: she/her) is an Assistant Professor in the Psychological Science department. She is also affiliated with the Gerontology minor. Dr. Swanson received her PhD in Community Psychology from DePaul University. Her research interests include aging, age-friendly communities, ageism, health disparities, and food and housing insecurity across the lifespan.
